Sulev Pikker — 35 years inside Estonian business.

Sulev Pikker, Founding Partner

Cross-border tax structures, banking introductions, partner-conflict mediation, registry recovery — a practice built for the questions that don't fit a single discipline, in three languages, with one named person accountable.

A letter from Sulev

My name is Sulev Pikker.

I have been an entrepreneur since 1991. Today I have more than 35 years of business experience as an entrepreneur, trainer, and mentor. BusinessHub.ee is my way of passing that experience on.

My journey as an entrepreneur includes, among other things:

  • helping to set up more than 1,000 companies in Estonia;
  • advising more than 200 entrepreneurs on starting and growing their business;
  • building and leading cross-border and international companies.

Over the years I have kept asking myself questions that no textbook can answer.

Is it usually a lack of knowledge that holds an entrepreneur back… or a lack of understanding?

Have you ever wondered why two entrepreneurs can have exactly the same knowledge, yet reach completely different results?

Knowledge today is everywhere. So why does it not bring success by itself?

On my own path I have come to see that between knowledge and understanding there often lies a deep chasm. It can be crossed only by a narrow and fragile footbridge.

Are you ready to step onto that footbridge — or do you need a quick fix right now, a "miracle cure" for the state of your business?

Profit is an opinion, cash is a fact.

Why this practice exists.

The template gap

Estonia's service platforms are excellent — until your situation stops fitting their template. This practice exists for the cases where the checkbox flow breaks: foreign ownership, questions about whether the company looks real, banking profiles that need a human argument.

The cross-domain gap

Accountants answer accounting questions; lawyers answer legal ones. The expensive problems live between them — and stall while each specialist points at the other. Here, one person owns the whole question.

Named accountability

No 'our team will get back to you'. Every piece of work runs through Sulev personally — the person you talk to on the discovery call is the person who writes your plan. One contact does not mean one person, though: behind him is the network of Estonian specialists he has built up over the years — tax, legal, bookkeeping, banking. When your case truly needs one of them, we bring the right person in and stay in the room, instead of handing you a phone number and leaving you to explain your situation from the beginning.

Finite by design

Diagnostics end. Plans cancel cleanly. The practice does not promise infinity; it promises the right depth for the situation you actually have — and says so when the right answer is elsewhere.

How an engagement runs.

1

First

Every relationship starts with a conversation, not a contract — fifteen minutes, free, no sales pitch.

2

Then

The depth matches the situation: a call, a diagnostic, or a monthly plan — never more than the problem needs.

3

Throughout

Fixed prices, written scope, one invoice. No additive billing from specialists you didn't hire.

4

At the end

Engagements end with a written handover — and an honest recommendation, even when it isn't us.

Fair questions.

ScopeAre you a lawyer?

No — and that is deliberate. The practice is business advisory with court-experienced judgment; when litigation or formal legal opinions are needed, partner attorneys (HansaLaw and others) join, and you pay them directly.

FilingsDo you handle tax filings or bookkeeping?

No. Your accountant keeps the books and files the returns. This practice sits above that layer — decisions, structure, and the questions that cross domains.

FormatWhy isn't this an agency with a team?

Because the value is the judgment, not the headcount. A specialist's office keeps one person accountable and the client list short enough for that to be true.

EdgesWhat if I need something outside your scope?

You get a referral and an honest sentence about why. Routing you to the right specialist — including back to a template provider — is part of the service.
